The tour lasts about an hour of leisurely walk among the spectacular green scenery of the kibbutz.
On the tour we will see the communal clothing store, the dining–hall, the main bulletin board and children houses. You will gain some understanding of the kibbutz’s organizational structure and learn about the benefits, as well as the shortcomings of life on a real kibbutz.
The tour ends on the balcony of the museum with its magnificent view of our neighbors: to the east – the Kingdom of Jordan, to the north – the Golan Heights and Syria.

Join an emotional tour of a reconstructed bomb shelter, including a touching video film.
This shelter was used by the kibbutz’s kids, who slept there night after night during the War of Attrition (1967 – 1970) and the Yom Kippur War. In those years (and long after them, until 1990), the kibbutz’s kids used to spend the nights together in communal children houses, a unique custom which existed only on kibbutzim.
The tour takes about an hour, and includes a short walk from the reception office to the shelter, located at the heart of the kibbutz.

Our kibbutz is blessed with a variety of advanced, successful agricultural branches, such as: bananas, dates, avocados, almonds, poultry, dairy farming and apiary.
The tour begins with a humorous video which explains the differences between modern agriculture in Israel and the agricultural practices of the 1940’s, tells us a little about the kibbutz’s agricultural branches, the crops and the cultivation methods.
Afterwards we’ll take a ride east, outside the kibbutz, and visit the bananas, avocado and date groves, ending the tour at the dairy farm.
Special interest talks focusing on other specific subjects, such as drip irrigation, the computerized milking center and more – are given on request.
